Saina – a nine year old.

Saina Nehwal, second daughter of Harvir Singh and Usha Rani, was born in a Hindu Jat family at the University Hospital of the Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University in Hisar.

Saina Nehwal is an Indian badminton player who is currently ranked No.1 in the world by Badminton World Federation Women’s Singles 2015.

 

 

 

 

Accomplishments:

  1. She is the first Indian to win a bronze medal in Badminton at the Olympics.
  2. She is the first Indian to win the World Junior Badminton Championships.
  3. She is the first Indian woman to win Silver at 2015 BWF World Championship.
