This is also another and enjoyable deceptive technique played from the forecourt. This is technically very difficult, but it can produce spectacular results. Here the player holds the racquet to the height of the thighs, now back flicks one wrist along with the hand movement backwards, so that the shuttle over to the backhand corner of the opponent (for a Right handed player). With this motion, sliced lifts always mislead your opponent in the direction of the shot because of the continuous swing of the hand without interruption.
One of the major disadvantages to this is achieving enough power to the lift, as the slicing action takes away most of the power.
