Badminton sport also requires a perfect measured land area with its dimensions usually called as the “Badminton” court. A badminton net divides the badminton court into two equal halves. Yet another milestone was crossed by one of the India’s Ace shuttler Ajay Jayaram [32] by pulling a dramatic win over Sho Sasaki of Japan 21-15, 16-21, 21-13 to enter into the Semi Finals of the Victor Korea Open 2015 Superseries Badminton Tournament.

India’s Ajay Jayaram In Quarters at The Korea Open 2015

Indian shuttler Ajay Jayaram earned an impressive win over Victor Axelsen 21-15, 21-15 in his first round encounter and Wong Wing Ki Vincent of Hong Kong 17-21, 21-15, 21-15 in his second round to enter the men’s singles quarterfinals of the Korea Open 2015 Superseries badminton tournament at the SK Handball Stadium on Thursday.

Till now he has an impressive tournament. In the Quarter final encounter he faces Sho Sakasi of japan who defeated Christie jonatan a qualifier from Indonesia which is to be witnessed on 18-September-2015.

Saina Nehwal Meets Prime Minister of India

India’s Ace shuttler and World No.1 Saina Nehwal met the Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi by gifting him one of her badminton racquets on the eve of Mr. Narendra Modi’s 65th birthday.

Saina quoted to the spokespersons, that “Mr. Narendra Modi knows well about my game as if he was one of the members of her family”. Saina was also stunned by the knowledge Mr. Modi has about sports and all the notable sports persons across India.

Saina and Mr. Narendra Modi discussed about the development of badminton in India emphasising kids to take up the sport. Discussions were also made on Common Wealth games and other major sport developments across the country, Rio Olympics, where Saina invited Mr. Narendra Modi for the Rio Olympics as a part of her gesture. The meeting lasted for about half an hour.

Saina now prepares for the forthcoming Denmark and the French Open Badminton Championships 2015.
